Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and drive the execution of the project, according to contractual requirements and customer expectations
• Lead a Project Team and liaison with internal and external stakeholders for project execution.
• Perform project management and contract administration according to company directives, including proactive risk and opportunity management.
• Compliance with Quality, Competency, OHS, Environmental and Safety requirements
• Follow up clients and stakeholders to ensure the timely approvals of designs / documents submitted
• Ensure quality in all work minimising rework with attitude of Right First Time
• Ensure completion of Project Performance goals to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure optimal quality of project/program execution and reviews.
• Ensure that critical aspects are identified in reviews and proactively / professionally addressed and followed up including but not limited to estimates, forecast, budgets and cashflow
• Make sure that key project stakeholders are aligned toward project/program goals
• Report to senior management the status of the project/program and its KPIs, during the business/sector project reviews

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of railway signalling systems, technologies, and relevant industry standards
• Project Management Certification
• Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Overall 8+ yrs of professional experience
• Project Management experience (5+ years) in railway signalling projects, electrification projects or similar projects with vendor / supplier / contractor management skills.
• Proven track record in successfully managing complex projects end-to-end, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Ability to work without supervision and in a team-work environment
