Project Manager - Interiors Execution

Job Summary

Seeking a Project Manager - Interior Executions to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines and resources, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain compliance with building codes and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination: Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with clients, designers, and contractors to align on project goals.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure that expenditures are within the allocated budget. Prepare cost estimates and track expenses.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including interior designers, architects, and subcontractors. Assign tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow.
• Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates on project status and progress.
• Quality Control: Ensure that the work meets the required quality standards and design specifications. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
• Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that tasks are completed on time. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or delays.
• Procurement: Oversee the procurement of materials, furniture, and fixtures needed for the project. Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting notes. Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
• Final Inspection and Handover: Conduct final inspections to ensure all work is completed to satisfaction. Coordinate the handover process to the client, including providing necessary documentation and warranties.

Skills & Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, construction management, or a related field is often required.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in project management, interior design, or construction. Experience managing interior execution projects is highly desirable.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities efficiently.
• Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Strong negotiation skills to work with clients, contractors, and suppliers on contracts, timelines, and costs.
• Ability to manage budgets and financial aspects of projects effectively.
• Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Interior Designer (CID) can be advantageous.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana) and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
• Understanding local building codes, regulations, and safety standards relevant to interior construction and design.
