Job Description
About the Position
This position will lead the overall Technical Assistance efforts for developing FNHW Immersion sites and manage all the interventions and activities to be undertaken at the state and district levels for achieving the deliverables. Working closely with PCI colleagues, this position will also be responsible for all the collaboration and liaising with SRLM and other related departments along with managing regular reporting as required.

- Location: Shillong, Meghalaya
- Tenure: 7 months March to September 2025 (extendable as per performance)
- Direct Report to : National Program Lead, PCI India
- Qualification required: Post-graduate in Rural Development, Social Sciences, or related field
- Experience required: 8-10 years of relevant work experience along with understanding of the structure and working of SRLMs.
Skill and Competencies
- Experience of working in FNHW related areas and understanding of local issues will be preferred
- Preference will be given to having experience of working with Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS).
- Experience of managing programs and teams and having worked closely with government departments.
- Experience of developing SBCC materials and providing trainings preferred.
- Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant computer skills.
- Willingness to travel to the field and ability to work against tight timelines.
- A person from Meghalaya will be preferred.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Working closely with Meghalaya SRLM, facilitate implementation of proposed activities required for development of six immersion sites in the current project period ensuring timeliness and quality.
- Liaison with Meghalaya SRLM for smooth implementation of project activities
- Coordinate with and establish cordial relations with the state officials of other departments such as Health, WCH, etc as required for bringing convergence in the state for FNHW.
- Facilitate the scoping and review for all FNHW materials in the state to identify gaps and support in developing new materials (SBCC and Operational).
- Work closely with the SRLM teams and cadre at Immersion site / block and district level for assessing their requirements in terms of capacity building, setting convergence mechanisms, monitoring mechanisms on the project deliverables and enterprise development.
- Facilitate conducting of ToTs and develop a cascade training plan on FNHW, based on state priorities, jointly with Meghalaya SRLM.
- Provide capacity building support as required and planned for FNHW Immersion site development
- Develop state and immersion site plans based on the proposed support for smooth implementation of all activities towards development of FNHW Immersion sites. Undertake field activities monitoring on a regular basis.
- Develop project reports and presentations as required by PCI and state SRLM.
