Role & responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed. Ensure all surfaces are smooth, clean, and free of defects before applying finishes.
• Painting Application: Apply various types of paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Ensure even application and high-quality results.
• Color Matching: Mix paints and finishes to achieve desired colors and textures. Use color matching tools and techniques to ensure consistency with specifications.
• Detail Work: Pay close attention to details, including edges, corners, and trim, to ensure a professional finish. Handle touch-ups and final adjustments as necessary.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Adhere to all relevant regulations and standards related to painting and finishing.
• Cleanup: Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment. Dispose of paint and other materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with project leader and Provide professional advice and recommendations regarding finishes and techniques based on site conditions.
• Project Management: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. Coordinate with project leader and prepare material list and ask for additional help when needed.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a painter, with a focus on finishing furniture work. Proven expertise in applying high-quality finishes. Need video and photos to support types of work.
• Skills: Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve precise results. Knowledge of color theory and finishing techniques.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, manage own tools and equipment and work in various interior spaces. Help will be provided to assist in carrying heavier tools
