UI/UX Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Developer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and be passionate about building visually appealing, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces. As a UI/UX Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to create exceptional digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to define and implement innovative user experiences.
• Translate complex concepts into clean, modern, and user-friendly UI designs.
• Create interactive, responsive, and visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups based on user feedback and requirements.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure designs meet user needs and expectations.
• Develop user personas and journey maps to help shape product design decisions.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, ensuring they are practical, scalable, and maintainable.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and data into the user interface.
• Maintain design consistency across platforms, ensuring a seamless experience across devices.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, and apply new techniques to projects.
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Developer, Web Designer, or similar role.
• Knowledge of design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Experience of front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Good to have designing and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with an understanding of responsive web design techniques.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and mobile-first design practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create innovative solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to design for a variety of screen sizes and platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Knowledge of animation libraries like GSAP, Lottie, or CSS animations.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Magento.
• Experience with user testing, A/B testing, and analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Google Analytics).
• Experience with design systems and creating style guides.
• Knowledge of motion design and 3D design (a plus).
• Familiarity with back-end technologies and APIs (e.g., RESTful APIs).

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree.
• 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, front-end development, or a similar role.
