Senior Java Developer

Job Description:

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to Java development best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
2. Design and Development: Design and develop complex software solutions using Java and related technologies. Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code that aligns with business requirements.
3. Mentoring and Coaching: Mentor and coach less experienced developers by providing guidance, support, and training to enhance their technical skills and effectiveness within the team.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure the software developed meets high-quality standards by conducting code reviews, writing unit tests, and verifying that performance, security, and scalability requirements are met.
5. Research and Innovation: Stay informed of the latest developments in Java and related technologies. Proactively research and identify new tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Application Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain Java applications that are scalable, secure, and robust.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features that enhance application functionality.
8. Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and reusable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and identify areas for improvement.
9. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug complex issues within the existing codebase, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
10. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in Java development to continually enhance personal and team capabilities.

Preferred candidate profile/Requirements:

Mandatory Skills : Core Java , MySQL , Spring

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. At least 4 years of professional experience in Java development.

3. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, design patterns, and other relevant technologies.

4. Experience with web services, microservices architecture, and Restful APIs.

5. Knowledge of database design and SQL, with experience in working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

6. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when faced with challenges.

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
