Senior Manager - FP & A

This role involves collaborating with various business units to provide insights that guide financial decision-making and strategic planning. The FP&A professional plays a key role in driving business performance through financial insights and data-driven recommendations. This role will be responsible ensure timely management reporting to help senior management take decisions. This role will assist in understanding and working on the allocations process, capital management and reporting. FP&A lead will report into the CFO and will assist on cost drivers to achieve cost optimization.

Essential Deliverables : the section helps understand the job ownership and accountability

• Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, including developing detailed financial models. Update financial forecasts on a periodic basis and provide analysis of key drivers impacting financial performance. Work with department heads to align forecasts with business strategies and operational plans.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare periodical financial reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the PGS strategic goals. Analyze actual performance versus budget, identifying and explaining variances and key financial metrics. Generate actionable insights and recommendations for senior management to support decision-making. Automate reporting and processes as required to create efficiencies.
• Business Partnering: Partner with business units including home office to track and evaluate performance, providing financial insights to guide strategy and operations. Work with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of key initiatives and support decision-making processes.
• Financial (Scenario) Analysis: Conduct scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of various business decisions and market changes. Do financial analysis for long term planning, capital expenditures etc.
• Cost Control & Profitability Analysis: Monitor and analyze costs, identify areas for cost savings, and recommend actions to improve profitability.
• Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis & Projects: Provide ad-hoc analysis and financial insights to support business initiatives and other strategic projects. Assist in preparing presentations for leadership meetings.
• Performance Metrics & KPIs: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial and operational performance.
• Capital Management and reporting.

Relevant Work Experience: Preferred educational background:

Qualified Chartered Accountant / MBA with 9 to 12yrs PQE, preferably with BFSI international GCCs or service providers. Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance function, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling with global Financial Services organization. Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling). Familiarity with financial systems such as Peoplesoft, Essbase etc. Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial data and identify key trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy in financial reports and analysis.
