Software Engineer (Frontend Developer)

Responsibilities Role Description: The role is for a software engineer in our Web Enablement team; which works to provide solutions for teams providing web experience to the end customer. Key Responsibilities: Developer role is responsible for developing, testing and maintaining the application/s with established processes. Develop and maintain technical designs based on requirements Develop application code for programs while following coding standards Develop and execute unit tests Complete Analysis & documentation as required by the project Support application testing and resolve test defects Report status updates as required by the project Follow established project execution processes Get actively involved in Training, self-development & knowledge sharing Build holistic understanding of applications & underlying domain being supported. Diagnose and resolve medium and complex system problems and issues reported by business by referring to system documents. Provide training to new team members and other teams on business processes and applications Provide permanent resolutions for repeating issues. Build automation for repetitive tasks. Qualifications Education: Graduate - Bachelors degree (any stream) Skill set: Technical/Functional - HTML, CSS and front-end JavaScript experience Experience theming and supporting a content management system Drupal theming and configuration Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Web components design/design systems Jest/Nightwatch.js/Happo Node CI/CD tooling, example: GitHub Actions Cloud platforms, example: Pantheon and AWS Other - Strong technical skills. Knowledge of SDLC. Good aptitude, positive attitude, strong reasoning and communication skills. Must be a good team player. Good analytical skills, research oriented. Good time management skills.
