Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering SME

Seeking highly skilled & experienced IT infrastructure design & implementation subject matter expert to join our build & engineering team to work on large scale IT infrastructure. Engineering SME is expected to work on business transition projects Participate in business operations, client discussions to understand the IT requirements, translate them to technical design, create documentation and implement the solution on ground to meet the business requirements. SME is expected to own end to end responsibility of project delivery and ensure smooth go live.

Responsibilities

• IT infrastructure design & implementation SME, to design and implement large scale network setup for contact centers.

• Work on business transition projects to design and implement IT infrastructure to meet functional requirements.

• Participate in business, client discussions to understand the IT requirements, translate them to technical design and implement.

• Own end to end responsibility of project delivery and ensure smooth go live.

• Create HLD, LLD documents for client and internal teams.

• Participate in extensive technical discussion with client and internal teams.

• Working with internal / external resources to deliver the assigned task

• Participate in internal discussion for root cause identification and problem management.

• Interact with ISP s, OEM for solution discussions, follow-up, issues troubleshooting.

• Identifying open risk in the production network and provide input for mitigation.

• Finding the scope improvement by initiating the Lean/Six Sigma projects to add the efficiency in to system /process.

• Help & support internal teams, peers for technical guidance.

• The candidate should be hardcore 24X7 network Ops experience

• Front-end face for Genpact Network Team while participating in internal P1/P2 Incident resolution bridge call

• Participate in Bridge calls with clients for joint troubleshooting of network issues

• Work with different Vendors and service Provider for faster and accurate resolution

• Playing key role for network related incidents and providing key inputs for Problem Management

• Identifying open risk in the production network and provide input for mitigation

• Documenting all Changes done in production environment through Change Management process

• Must have worked on large scale infra

• Candidate must have worked/handled the IT projects

• Global customer interaction is one of the key expectation from candidate

• The candidate should hold very rich experience in corporate LAN & WAN infra

• Candidate must have worked on the latest technologies (Cloud, ACI, SDN and SDWAN)

• He/she need to lead function and drive the project/operations end to end

• Candidate should be very strong in written & oral communication

• Hands-on experience on Cisco Routers (ASR/ISR Series) and Switches (6500/4500/3850 Model)

• Candidate must have work experience in implementing/troubleshooting Routing (Static, EIGRP, BGP and Policy Based routing) and Switching issues (VTP/STP)

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• CCNP (highly preferred, must)

• Network certification [Palo alto, Juniper, Fortinet] highly preferred

• AWS, Azure cloud certifications [highly preferred, must]

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps [preferred]

• Candidate should be very strong in written & oral communication

• Candidate must have good presentation skills
