Proposal and Business Devlopment Manager - US Federal

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Capture Manager to develop win strategies
• Review / participate in RFI / RFP reviews, and capability statements
• Support proposal development through input on approach and past performance
• Iterate on proposals directly and with AI assist tools in order to strengthen responses from subject matter expert feedback
• Review final proposals for compliance and competitiveness
• Track win/loss data and conduct bid decision analysis
• Report on pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and business development KPIs
• Meet with the Capture Manager to refine pursuit strategy for key opportunities

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Development and Business Development Manager to lead the full lifecycle of U.S. Federal proposal development and business development efforts. This role requires expertise in identifying federal contracting opportunities, coordinating proposal responses, and developing winning response strategies to expand our footprint in the federal marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal procurement processes, excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to effectively leverage AI-assisted proposal and business development tools, and past experience producing high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals.
