Proposal Writer/Manager

Role & responsibilities

Position can be fully remote.

• Manage and/or write the technical proposal sections, RFI responses, white papers, resumes, past performance citations, or other proposal narratives in response to solicitations.
• Interpret RFP requirements for compliance mapping. Lead responses to Federal Government at the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and Task Order (TO) level, and other responses at the contract program level.
• Experience in analyzing RFPs/RFIs/RFQs to prepare response outlines and compliance matrices Research, development, planning, and writing of compliant technical material and compelling proposal content for use in proposal development activities.
• Reach out to Govt. and prime teaming partners/stakeholders via email/Phone as needed.
• Sourcing of RFPs/Proposals, Capture management, Finding RFPs
• Develop proposal templates, outlines, compliance matrices, production checklists etc.
• Develop and maintain the proposal schedule, and report on progress.
• Coordinate, prepare for and participate in proposal meetings and reviews. Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Director of Presales against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required.
• Ensure submissions are accurate, complete, and compliant with RFP requirements and editorial specifications, as well as corporate quality and branding standards.
• Participate in the upkeep of reusable databases. Databases include Proposal Content, Graphics, Past Performance, Re-usable Assets, etc.
• Assist Director of Presales with other duties as assigned, for example, metrics tracking, compliance reviews, quality reviews, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field from an accredited college/university. Bachelor in English, other Bachelor degree.

2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in the development of large, complex Information Technology (IT) proposals (preferably for US public and/or Private Sector).

3. Experience in delivering end-end to proposals on various IT skills such as Software Web Development, DevOps, Big Data, Cloud, Networking, Database Design, Data Science, Systems Engineering, Enterprise IT Implementation and Maintenance and more.

4. Knowledge of RFP life cycle management and the U.S. public sector and/or Private Sector formats and regulations.

5. Proven ability to successfully communicate company proposal objectives and key characteristics to management and teammates, in writing and oral presentations
