Role : Senior QA Test Engineer

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Test Engineer with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Automation Testing to join our team. The successful candidate will work on some of the most challenging and innovative projects in our company, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills:

Automation Expertise: Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber (BDD Framework).

Programming Proficiency: Proficiency in Java programming, with the ability to write custom automation code.

Framework Development: Experience in building reusable libraries and frameworks.

Document Validation: Hands-on experience with document validation (PDF/Word) and Excel file automation using libraries like Apache POI or similar.

Manual Testing: Knowledge of manual testing practices, including test case creation and execution.

Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing Execution: Perform both manual and automation testing (50/50 split) on insurance applications.

Framework Development: Design, create, and maintain custom test automation frameworks and libraries from scratch.

Test Case Development: Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to ensure application functionality and quality.

Document Automation: Validate and automate document-related checks, such as PDF/Word document content and formatting verification.

Excel Automation: Automate Excel-based testing processes, including reading/writing data and verifying output accuracy.

Issue Resolution: Collaborate with the product support team to identify and resolve application issues effectively.

Tool Utilization: Work with tools like Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), and Java to automate web-based application testing.

- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

- Experience with performance and security testing.

- Knowledge of cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
