Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Selenium/Cypress (0-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure product quality.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify test requirements and develop testing strategies.

- Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and document findings.

- Identify, track, and document bugs and verify fixes in collaboration with the development team.

- Implement continuous integration/continuous testing practices.

- Contribute to building test plans, scenarios, and test data for functional, integration, and regression testing.

- Perform root cause analysis of test failures and recommend solutions.

- Ensure best practices in test automation and quality assurance are followed.

Requirements :

- Experience : [e.g., 3+ years of experience] in quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.

- Automation Tools : Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

- Test Frameworks : Experience with test automation frameworks and understanding of the SDLC and STLC processes.

- CI/CD : Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and integrating automated tests into the CI pipeline.

- Version Control : Proficient in version control systems, such as Git.

- Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with cloud testing platforms or services.

- Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.

- ISTQB or similar certification in software testing.
