Job Description
Job Requirements:
Education
B. Tech / B.E
Relevant Experience
- 3 to 5+ years of development experience in Data Engineering.
- At least 3+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and ETL development. Data Architecture experience preferred.
- Technical Know-how/Tools used.
- Must have experience with development & implementation of Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
- Expertise in Snowflake Data Modelling, ELT using dbt SQL / Snowflake SQL, Informatica, FiveTran.
- Prior experience in building REST APIs, API Gateways. DB design would be preferred.
- Experience in AWS cloud technologies including Lambda Python functions, S3 Data Lake, Redshift etc. preferred.
- Would collaborate within Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement Data, BI & Analytics solutions.
- Must have experience writing complex SQL stored procedures and conducting performance tuning/optimization.
- Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS, S3 to Snowflake cloud data warehouse is needed.
- Designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting data solutions maintaining security and data privacy.
- Knowledge in Python, Pyspark, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS S3 would be preferred.
- Experience with ML/AI technologies would be preferred.
- Experience with a BI Tools (Power BI, Looker, Siesmic) would be preferred.
- Snowflake certified professionals are preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
1. Design, build, install, configure, and support data solutions, maintaining security and data privacy.
2. Conduct performance tuning or optimization of data solutions along with testing and support.
3. Analyse, develop, and implement solutions that meet the company s capacity and performance requirements.
4. Resolve development problems through technical and business-based solutions as applicable.
5. Collate and document the business requirements; work independently towards the execution of requirements within the agreed timelines
Stakeholder Management
1. Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, and Implement data, BI, and Analytics solutions.
2. Lead the completion of development/testing/release and sign-off in collaboration with Product Managers
3. Communicate with team members and leaders to resolve and maintain a smooth flow of solution development
Governance & Compliance
1. Establish proper records, approvals, documentation, and updates on the solution development.
2. Ensure adherence to the implementation of effective governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
3. Manage issues to mitigate impact and risk by early detection of risk items & active team involvement
Key Result Areas
1. Drive operational excellence through regular and interactive stakeholder management.
2. Ensure complex open requests in the process are resolved along with reporting and closure of queries.
3. Drive application performance through continuous process improvements within the team
4. Capture, mitigate, and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
5. Independently drive projects and applicable solutions towards closure
