Prep.Study - SAP FICO Functional Consultant (7-10 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in SAP FICO, with prior consulting experience as an added advantage. This individual will play a pivotal role in understanding the SAP FICO functionalities, advising the team on effective platform utilization, and defining new changes or requirements for the SAP development team.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Requirement Analysis & Advisory :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to SAP FICO.

- Provide advisory services on best practices for utilizing SAP FICO functionalities to meet business needs.

2. Solution Design & Implementation :

- Define and document detailed requirements for enhancements or new developments in SAP FICO.

- Coordinate with the SAP technical team to ensure accurate design and implementation of changes.

- Validate and test the impact of changes to ensure alignment with business objectives.

3. Functional Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide functional support to end-users for SAP FICO-related issues.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

4. Impact Analysis :

- Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing processes and configurations.

- Recommend risk mitigation strategies and provide inputs on cost and effort estimation.

5. Documentation & Training :

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP FICO processes and changes.

- Train team members and end-users on new functionalities or processes.

6. Collaboration and Coordination :

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated solutions across business units.

- Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders through project lifecycles.

7. Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering :

- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand their requirements.

- Define and document clear, concise functional requirements for project changes or enhancements.

Skills & Qualifications :

Mandatory Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 7-10 years of experience in SAP FICO as a functional resource.

- Strong understanding of core SAP FICO modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling).

- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

- Proficiency in documenting functional specifications and validating development efforts.

- Experience with SAP system configuration and customization.

Preferred Skills :

- Prior experience in SAP consulting.

- Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).

- Familiarity with S/4HANA and Fiori applications.

- Basic understanding of ABAP to liaise effectively with technical teams.

Educational Qualifications and Experience :
