Accounts Payable Specialist

Premier Research is looking for a Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Clinical Development Services-Finance team.

What youll be doing:

• Obtains appropriate Manager/Department Head approval of invoices
• Allocates invoices to proper General Ledger accounts, departments and project codes
• Reviews and enters invoices in a timely manner
• Researches and resolves vendor and employee issues
• Audits and posts expense reports, including enforcing Company travel policies as needed
• Creates and accurately maintains various spreadsheets for information/tracking purposes and to help resolve outstanding issues
• Processes payments and accurately recording payments in our financial software.
• Maintains vendor and expense report files/records
• Training of new employees to the team.
• Supports enhancements and improvements of the current AP process as well changes in ERP systems.
• Assist Accounts Payable Manager with preparing procedures describing AP processes for internal use.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of a 1st level University Degree preferability in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Five to eight years related accounts payable experience
• Fluent in English
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Strong data entry
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• High attention to detail
• Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, Excel
• International accounts payable experience
