Job Description
Brief Position Description:
The Team Lead Accounts Payable is primarily responsible for all supplier and coordinating with AP associates at Global Shared Services Centre. Provides AP support by ensuring the company supplier payments is efficiently managed and coordinating the process of recording the transactions by posting payments and resolving discrepancies according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. Regular follow up with suppliers to ensure all invoices processed and paid in timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in a professional work environment with a minimum of 3 years experience in Accounts Payables.
- Experience in Financial Force or any well-known Finance ERP will be added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and delivering the end-to-end Accounts Payable process for assigned projects, ensuring that all policies, processes are adhered too.
- Ensuring the Supplier setup process is followed ensuring validation and approval of Suppliers, ensuring business approvals and contracts are managed.
- Ensure that the Concur Payable Invoice & Employee Expenses tool is setup & managed to ensure timely processing of vouchers through to the FinancialForce ERP.
- Ensure business training and accountability to adhere to agreed processes and timely completion of tasks.
- Deliver scheduled payment runs timely and ensure correct approvals are in place. Ensure that Vendors & Employees are paid according to terms and/or Float terms.
- Provide information timely to users via dashboards & reporting to empower self-service information to support business outcomes. Deal with any issue escalations timely.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the AP process is efficient and effective in serving the business.
- Seek continuous improvement to the AP process.
