This exciting role offers opportunity to :
- This role is responsible to manage implementation of EDI products and services for new and existing trading partners, by coordinating all activities including initial stages of planning, designing, developing requirements definition, coordination, testing and the roll out while working very closely with trading partners and other team members.
- EDI analyst will serve as a liaison between internal customer/supplier facing departments and external trading partners and identify opportunities to leverage EDI technology to reduce costs, improve accuracy and comply with trading partner
- Evaluate and analyze supplier EDI business requirements, arrange communication setup, develop maps as necessary to implement mutually agreeable EDI solutions as required by different Eaton groups
- Actively participate in entire project life cycle of planning, design, development, coordination, communication, Unit acceptance testing and go live of the rollout of the EDI solution with the trading partner
- Supervise and coordinate the daily EDI operations
- Support and maintain existing EDI maps
- Monitor support request tickets on regular basis and provide timely resolution and closure of the tickets
- Recommend continuous improvement enhancements for the EDI solution by error proofing to eliminate root cause of errors
- Responsible for generating and maintaining process flow/procedure documentation as it relates to EDI
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure EDI solution meets key organizational goals and targets
Qualifications:
Requirement:
- MBA in Finance, Accounting or Information Systems preferred
- Minimum of 5-8 years experience in EDI service center, Information Systems esp. in the area of electronic data flow between partners.
Skills:
- Experience in Accounts payable is an advantage.
- Experience with Oracle R12 and SAP preferred.
- Knowledge of MFG/Pro EDI Ecommerce, Oracle ERP EDI, SAP ERP EDI
- Coding skills in backend computer languages like SQL, and experience with database query languages like SQL
- Experience with EDI Tools ( ASC X12, UN/EDIFACT, ODETTE, and TRADACOMS)
- Excellent communication and experience managing small to medium size projects
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to work collaboratively in matrix organization and deliver results thru self and othets
