General Manager Operations

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to optimize productivity across departments/Units
• Review and enhance organizational effectiveness by improving processes, managing employees, creating a motivational work environment, and implementing innovative solutions.
• Ensure adherence to company standards for quality and excellence.
• Identify and pursue new business relationships to foster expansion and growth.
• Provide mentorship and feedback to team members to strengthen their skills and knowledge.
• Oversee daily operations, assign weekly performance goals, track their completion, and meet your own goals
• Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Develop, manage, and monitor budgetary and resource allocation plans.
• Delegate responsibilities to the most qualified employees while enforcing policies, procedures, and organizational values.
• Resolve internal conflicts quickly and constructively for the benefit of all involved.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven success in a managerial or leadership role with experience in team development and performance management.
• Strong decision-making capabilities with the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills, with an ability to foster teamwork and a positive workplace culture.
• Demonstrated ability to create, implement, and achieve financial and operational plans.
• Ability to motivate, lead, and hold employees accountable for meeting targets and maintaining productivity.
• Strong understanding of operational procedures and business management practices.
• Bachelors degree in Business Management (or a related field, such as B.Tech/M.Tech in Textiles or similar).
• Experience conducting performance evaluations and providing actionable feedback.
• Solid working knowledge of human resource processes, including recruitment, on boarding, and employee relations.
