Engineering Manager - Big Data Solutions (8-15 yrs)

With a focus on Java/Scala, microservices, ETL, and stream processing, this role involves building cutting-edge big data solutions while aligning with Adform's global objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage backend engineering teams, ensuring delivery of the product roadmap.

- Oversee team activities, prioritize tasks, and maintain adherence to Adform's best practices.

- Mentor and evaluate team members, setting KPIs and conducting performance reviews.

- Provide technical guidance on Java/Scala stream processing, ETL, and backend APIs.

- Drive the implementation of microservices architecture and messaging queues.

- Collaborate with stakeholders and other managers to align on delivery status.

- Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members.

- Promote and ensure adherence to Adform's values within the team.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- 8-15 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Core Java/Scala and microservices.

- Proven team management experience with direct reportees and KPI/KRA setting.

- Strong understanding of Scrum methodology and agile processes.

- Hands-on experience with stream processing, ETL, and backend API development.

- Familiarity with Kafka and Kubernetes is a plus.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Proven ability to manage and mentor high-performing engineering teams.
