Power BI Consultant - Data Analytics (6-8 yrs)

Senior Power BI Developer.

Key Responsibilities :

Power BI Development & Data Visualization :

- Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.

- Extract and transform data into meaningful visual insights for business decision-making.

- Optimize Power BI performance and report efficiency.

DAX & Data Analysis :

- Develop complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations to support reporting needs.

- Understand and apply DAX Studio for performance optimization.

- Implement advanced calculations and measures for insightful analytics.

Data Modeling & SQL :

- Design efficient data models (Fact-Dimension, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).

- Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.

- Ensure high-performance querying and reporting with large datasets.

SAP HANA 2.0 Integration :

- Work with SAP HANA 2.0 for data extraction, modeling, and reporting.

- Optimize Power BI-SAP HANA integrations for better performance.

Performance Optimization & Data Flows :

- Utilize DAX Studio for query tuning and performance optimization.

- Manage and optimize data flows and data warehouse solutions.

Client Communication & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and define KPIs.

- Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

- Present findings and recommendations to clients effectively.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.

- Knowledge of ETL processes and automation tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6-8 years of experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

- Expertise in Power BI dashboard design, visual storytelling, and report development.

- Strong experience in DAX expressions and performance optimization.

- Proficiency in SQL data querying, transformations, and performance tuning.

- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (Fact-Dimension, Star Schema).

- Experience working with SAP HANA 2.0 for data integration.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
