SAP FICO Technical Consultant - Implementation & Support (4-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient SAP FICO Technical Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on the technical aspects of SAP FICO configuration, implementation, and support within an S/4HANA environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP FICO architecture, configuration parameters, and integration points, with a proven track record of delivering robust and efficient technical solutions.

Responsibilities :

Technical Configuration & Customization :

- Perform detailed technical configuration of SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, PCA, PC) in S/4HANA, focusing on underlying technical parameters and settings.

- Implement and configure Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), Lockbox processing, and international tax configurations, analyzing and adjusting technical parameters for optimal performance.

- Execute technical data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, and validation, leveraging SAP tools and techniques.

- Configure and maintain technical aspects of chart of accounts, company codes, cost centers, profit centers, and other organizational structures.

- Analyze and optimize system performance through technical configuration adjustments and tuning.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide advanced technical support for SAP FICO incidents, focusing on root cause analysis and resolution of complex technical issues.

- Perform in-depth technical troubleshooting of FICO integration issues with other SAP modules (MM, HR, PP, PM), utilizing debugging tools and techniques.

- Conduct performance monitoring and tuning of SAP FICO systems, identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks.

- Apply technical knowledge to resolve complex taxation issues.

Technical Integration & Development :

- Analyze and implement technical integration solutions between SAP FICO and other SAP modules or external systems.

- Collaborate with ABAP developers to design, develop, and test custom technical solutions, including enhancements, interfaces, and reports.

- Utilize SAP debugging tools to analyze and resolve technical issues.

- Perform technical analysis for migration of complex SAP FICO landscape from Classic to new GL.

Technical Documentation & Knowledge Transfer :

- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for SAP FICO configurations, customizations, and procedures.

- Provide technical knowledge transfer to other team members and users, including training on technical aspects of SAP FICO.

- Document the technical processes of international taxation.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

- 4-7 years of hands-on technical experience in SAP FICO implementation, support, or consulting.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in full lifecycle SAP FICO technical implementations.

- Deep technical understanding of SAP FICO architecture, configuration parameters, and integration points in an S/4HANA environment.

- Expertise in configuring and customizing technical aspects of GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, PCA, and PC modules.

- Strong technical experience with Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), Lockbox processing, and international taxation configurations.

- Proven ability to perform technical data migration activities.

- Proficiency in SAP debugging tools and techniques.

- Experience in integrating SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, HR, PP, PM) at a technical level.

- Strong understanding of technical aspects of financial processes and accounting principles.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on technical solutions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Experience with migration of complex SAP FICO landscape from Classic to new GL from a technical standpoint.

- Ability to read and understand ABAP code.

- SAP Certification in FICO is a plus.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and technical components.

- Experience with SAP Fiori technical configurations.
