SAP FICO Analyst - Support & Implementation (6-8 yrs)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Experience Required : 6+ years (with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience)

Responsibilities :

- Configure and maintain SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.

- Provide ongoing support to end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and resolve user queries.

- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO related issues.

- Perform system testing and user acceptance testing.

- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through the effective utilization of SAP FICO functionalities.

- Implement best practices and streamline business processes within the SAP FICO environment.

- Develop and implement solutions to improve data accuracy and efficiency.

- Participate in SAP FICO implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and go-live support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business users, IT, project managers) to ensure successful project delivery.

- Generate and analyze financial reports using SAP FICO and other reporting tools.

- Prepare and present financial data to stakeholders.

- Conduct data quality checks and ensure data integrity within the SAP system.

- Keep abreast of the latest SAP FICO releases, enhancements, and best practices.

- Attend training sessions and industry events to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting).

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proven project management and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong customer service orientation.

Bonus Points :

- SAP FICO certifications (SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Finance)

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance

- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA or other SAP Analytics tools

- Experience with scripting languages (ABAP, SQL)

- Experience with integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP)
