Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator with expertise in Oracle and MS SQL 2019 to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database performance, security, and availability, while handling infrastructure maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Infrastructure Maintenance : Perform database backups, ensure availability, patching, indexing, user management, and performance tuning for Oracle and MS SQL databases.

- Monitoring : Manage space, monitor user activities and resource utilization, and create database health check reports.

- Database Build & Migration : Plan and execute database build and migration projects with minimal downtime and ensured data integrity.

- Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning and resource management.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and promptly resolve database-related issues.

- Disaster Recovery : Develop, implement, and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.

Mandatory Skills :

- Expertise in Database Administration for Oracle & MS SQL 2019.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database versions 19c and above.

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages.

Mandatory Certifications (at least one) :

- Oracle Database Administration Certified Professional.

- Oracle Certified Autonomous Database Specialist.

- MS SQL Database Administration Certified Professional.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure components (server, storage, network, database, and services).

- Experience with cloud database services like Azure SQL Database.

- Knowledge of database migration tools and techniques.

- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

- Expert knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

- Experience managing end-to-end migration projects on both process and technical fronts.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work under pressure with reliability and precision in communication.

Work Experience Requirements :

- A proven track record in database administration, infrastructure maintenance, and migration projects.
