SAP Fiori Consultant (5-8 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Consultant to lead the enhancement and modernization of HR ESS/MSS applications. The role involves upgrading an existing WebDynpro-based application to SAP Fiori Standard Apps and performing a Fit-Gap analysis in collaboration with the customer. You will also be responsible for implementing necessary adjustments to Fiori applications, workflows, and ODATA services to ensure seamless functionality and enhanced user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

WebDynpro Application Enhancement :

- Review the existing WebDynpro application for HR ESS/MSS functionalities.

- Plan and execute the transition to SAP Fiori Standard Apps.

Fit-Gap Analysis :

- Conduct detailed analysis sessions with the customer to identify gaps between the existing solution and SAP Fiori Standard Apps.

- Document findings and propose solutions for identified gaps.

SAP Fiori Customizations :

- Customize and enhance Fiori Standard Apps to meet business requirements.

- Integrate Fiori applications with existing workflows and processes.

Workflow Management :

- Analyze and update workflows to align with the new Fiori application framework.

- Optimize workflow performance and ensure seamless integration with SAP HCM modules.

ODATA Services Development :

- Design, develop, and implement ODATA services to enable communication between Fiori apps and backend systems.

- Ensure ODATA services meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.

Collaboration and Documentation :

- Work closely with the customer, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements and provide timely updates.

- Create comprehensive technical and functional documentation for all developments and customizations.

Testing and Support :

- Conduct rigorous unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate functionality.

- Provide post-implementation support and resolve issues promptly.

Required Skills and Experience :

SAP HCM : Deep understanding of SAP HCM processes and modules, especially ESS (Employee Self-Service) and MSS (Manager Self-Service).

SAP Fiori :

- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori Standard Apps customization and deployment.

- Proficiency in Fiori design principles and best practices.

WebDynpro : Strong expertise in WebDynpro development, enhancement, and troubleshooting.

ODATA Services : Proven experience in developing and managing ODATA services for SAP Fiori applications.

Workflows : Solid understanding of SAP workflows with the ability to analyze, modify, and enhance as per business needs.

Experience Level : 5-8 years of relevant experience in SAP HCM, SAP Fiori, WebDynpro, and ODATA services.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP HCM or SAP Fiori certification is a plus.

- Experience in end-to-end implementations or upgrades in HR ESS/MSS modules.

- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
