Content Writer: Job Description

We are looking for a candidate with a great flair for writing, a command of the English language, and impeccable communication skills. This person will support the Life Insurance Content team in article writing, SEO page content, social media copywriting, and video scripts, among others. The role will focus on content marketing covering products like Term Insurance, Life Insurance, LIC, and other insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing clear, compelling SEO content on insurance products (life insurance, term insurance, etc.)
• Doing in-depth research to understand consumers and creating original, insightful content pieces
• Collaborating with SEO, product, and business teams to write content that resonates with the companys goals and mission
• Working on social media copies, infographics, and video scripts as per requirements
• Coming up with creative ideas that help the content team achieve its goals
  

Experience & Skills:

• The candidate should have good command over the English language
• Should have the ability to write content with clarity and grammatical accuracy
• Should have a clear understanding of how SEO content works
• Should be able to use SEO tools like GSC, Google Analytics, Semrush, etc.
• Should be good at quickly learning how insurance products work
• Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Should be able to use creativity to create interesting copies and content
• Should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in content writing (Insurance/Fintech/BFSI industries would be preferred)

Qualification:

Graduate or Postgraduate (Mass Comm & English preferred); Insurance & BFSI industry experience preferred.
