Job Description

Position Title: Talent Acquisition Manager/Sr. Manager

Location: Gurgaon

Reports to: Head of HR

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager/Sr. Manager to lead our recruitment efforts and build a strong pipeline of top-tier talent. The ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years of experience in recruitment, with a proven track record of success in sourcing, evaluating, and hiring candidates across various roles and industries. This position will involve strategic planning, managing recruitment processes, building relationships with hiring managers, and leading a team of recruiters to meet organizational staffing needs.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Recruitment Planning:

o Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to understand hiring needs, workforce planning, and talent gaps.

o Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.

o Drive the development of employer branding strategies to attract top-tier talent.

2. Team Leadership & Development:

o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters to ensure effective and efficient recruitment processes.

o Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance performance and growth.

o Set team goals and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in recruitment efforts.

3. Talent Sourcing & Candidate Pipeline Development:

o Utilize a variety of sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates (job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, etc.).

o Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.

o Leverage innovative tools and platforms to enhance sourcing efforts and stay ahead of market trends.

4. Full-Cycle Recruitment:

o Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from job requisition to offer negotiation and onboarding.

o Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and potential.

o Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, define role requirements, and ensure effective candidate evaluation.

5. Stakeholder Management:

o Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and executives on recruitment best practices and market trends.

o Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.

o Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors to ensure effective collaboration.

6. Metrics and Reporting:

o Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.

o Generate reports on recruitment performance and make recommendations for optimizing processes.

7. Process Improvement:

o Continuously review and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.

o Stay updated on industry best practices and recruitment technologies to ensure the team is using the most effective tools.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Proven track record in managing and scaling recruitment processes

- Strong understanding of recruiting strategies, talent sourcing, and candidate assessment techniques.

- Experience managing recruitment teams and leading by example.

- Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with advanced sourcing techniques, including social media recruiting, headhunting, and employer branding.

- Familiarity with data-driven recruitment approaches and analytics tools.

- Previous experience in managing high-volume recruitment
