Our solutions support analysis and submission-ready data across preclinical and clinical development.
Role Summary:
- As the Director of Clinical Business Development, you will identify and engage potential customers, showcasing the value of Xbiom- to Sponsors, CROs, and Regulatory Agencies.
- You will direct a business development team, working closely with sales and marketing resources to develop effective presentation materials and support customer onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and map the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for each Xbiom- segment.
- Engage with prospective customers, demonstrating the value of Xbiom- to acquire new, sustainable clients (on a trial, program, or enterprise basis).
- Lead and collaborate with the business development team to create presentation materials for customer onboarding.
- Maintain frequent communication with product and technical leaders to ensure product capabilities meet customer expectations without extensive customization.
- Foster authentic relationships with customers worldwide to support PointCross' growth and impact objectives.
- Author blog posts and articles promoting PointCross' approach to clinical data and standards management.
- Grow brand awareness and business development pipeline.
Demonstrate PointCross' capabilities in areas such as:.
- Clinical Submission Artifact Generation & Delivery (SDTM, ADaM, TFLs, Define, Reviewer Guide documentation).
- Metadata Repository and Standards Governance.
- Clinical Data Repository and Patient Insights.
- Digital Trial Monitoring.
- Data Validation.
- Data Mapping and Standardization.
- Statistical Programming tools (Xbiom's Statistical Computing Environment).
- Managed Services for lean biotechs.
- Provide customer feedback to leadership to shape and deliver proposals.
- Prepare for and run strategic-level demonstrations with prospective customers.
- Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and bid defenses.
- Maintain and build a customer relationship database, briefing the Sales & Marketing team weekly.
- Deploy e-mail and cross-marketing campaigns on platforms including LinkedIn and blog posts.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong background in clinical data management solutions with sufficient scientific knowledge.
- Ability to empathetically demonstrate patient findings and analytics relevant to biotechnology and clinical research users.
- Understanding of IT R&D departments, infrastructure, and architecture.
- Experience drafting and contributing to RFI/RFP responses.
- Proven track record in business development, negotiation, and pricing strategy.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills.
