The BPM expert reports into the BPM lead. The primary purpose of the role is to design, build and implement Business Process Management capabilities to support the Global Process owners.
The BPM Expert is responsible for curating, designing, and managing the global process repository. The BPM Expert is expected to possess in-depth knowledge and experience in BPM methodologies, tools, and technologies, and be able to apply them to solve complex business problems. They liaise directly with Process Managers in the organization to define processes and document them in a central company repository.
This role operates in the corporate environment of GPOs to govern processes, as well as on the level where processes are defined. The impact of the role comes when processes are adopted and executed as described
Lead the development, implementation, and management of BPM solutions that align with the organizations strategic objectives and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional GPO teams to create the AkzoNobel process landscape that shows the end-to-end view of the business; includes commercial, ISC and supporting areas of the organization in accordance with the agreed mapping standards.
Provide counsel and knowhow of industry best practices to the process managers for designing, documenting, and managing competent and complete processes that include inter process dependencies, standard roles, IT applications and other related attributes.
Work with process towers to create their respective process design & mapping roadmap. Manage the progress and delivery of the roadmap.
Support the GPO organization in the creation, implementation, and adoption of the process maturity/ process coach framework.
Lead the communication and outreach efforts to engage & educate the organization on best practices from across the industry leading to outcome-based/ best in class process management practices.
Create performance dashboards (Power BI) to monitor and report the progress and efficiency of the AkzoNobel process repository.
Create and maintain BPM standard documentation, including Rule book, user manuals, and training materials. Perform Quality checks against standards to report anomalies in documentation practices.
