Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Sales team, focusing on expanding our market presence and driving sales growth in the commercial, industrial, and residential segments.
 
Position Overview:
  • The Area Sales Manager (EPC Sales) will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the assigned region
  • This role requires a deep understanding of the solar industry, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the commercial, industrial, and residential markets
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy solutions
Key Responsibilities:
 
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in the commercial, industrial, and residential segments.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, projects, and key accounts.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
3. Sales Planning and Reporting:
  • Develop and manage sales plans, forecasts, and budgets for the assigned region.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, including pipeline status, market feedback, and competitive analysis.
4. Contract Negotiation and Management:
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and technical teams to review and finalize contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
5. Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with the EPC project management team to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with marketing, technical support, and product development teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and its products.
6. Market Expansion and Development:
  • Identify and evaluate new markets and segments for potential expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC sales, with experience in commercial, industrial, and residential markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, with a focus on EPC projects in the solar or renewable energy sector.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
