Associate Director - SEO

Job Description & Work Exp.

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to lead our SEO initiatives at the Group Head/ Associate Director level. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision, exceptional leadership skills, and deep expertise in SEO to drive organic growth, enhance search visibility, and deliver measurable results to our clients.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities and ensure best practices are implemented across all campaigns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging SEO techniques.

2. Client Engagement:

• Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, providing strategic guidance and insights.
• Present performance reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align SEO efforts with broader marketing strategies.

3. Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of SEO professionals, fostering skill development and innovation.
• Build a collaborative culture within the team to achieve operational excellence.

4. Technical SEO Expertise:

• Oversee technical SEO audits and recommend site architecture improvements.
• Ensure proper implementation of SEO best practices, including schema markup, page speed optimization, and mobile-first indexing.
• Work with web development teams to resolve technical issues affecting search rankings.

5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

• Define KPIs and track the performance of SEO campaigns using analytics tools.
• Analyze data to uncover insights and optimize strategies for continuous improvement.
• Deliver detailed reports on campaign performance and ROI to internal and external stakeholders.

6. Collaboration and Innovation:

• Collaborate with content, paid media, and design teams to ensure a cohesive digital marketing strategy.
• Explore new tools, platforms, and technologies to keep the SEO practice at the forefront of innovation.

Skills and Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
• Experience in integrating SEO with other digital marketing disciplines, such as paid search and content marketing.
• A background in managing international/multi-language SEO campaigns is a plus.
