Role Overview:
The SEO Specialist will lead efforts to enhance Boutiqaats organic search and app store optimization (ASO) efforts. This role requires developing and executing strategies to drive organic traffic, improve app rankings, and boost conversion rates across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimization.
- Optimize on-page elements (metadata, headings, URLs) and internal linking.
- Perform technical SEO tasks such as site audits, mobile optimization, and page speed improvements.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to create SEO-friendly content.
- Monitor performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, WebMaster and Ahrefs.
- Stay updated on algorithm changes and industry best practices.
- Develop ASO strategies to improve app visibility and ranking on Google Play and the App Store.
- Conduct keyword research for app stores and optimize app titles, descriptions, and metadata.
- Analyze and enhance app screenshots, icons, and promotional videos to boost conversion rates.
- Track and analyze app performance metrics and user behavior to inform ASO strategy.
- Monitor app store trends, competitor performance, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to align ASO efforts with app features and updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO and ASO within retail, e-commerce, or agency settings.
- Proven track record of improving website and app store rankings and driving organic growth.
- Proficiency in SEO/ASO tools (eg. SEMrush, Ahrefs, App Annie, Google Analytics, Search Console).
- Strong understanding of app store algorithms and optimization best practices.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it pertains to SEO.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing ASO for high-traffic mobile apps.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (eg. Magento, Shopify) and mobile analytics tools.
- Certification in Google Analytics, SEO, or ASO-related platforms.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and their impact on SEO/ASO.
