- We seek a Business Development Manager for a leading Wealth Management firm. We are looking for qualified candidates with 5-8 years of experience in business development, wealth management, or financial services.

- We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in managing channel partner relationships and developing a network of Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs). This is a crucial role for us as we are looking to expand our distribution network and drive business growth.

Job Overview:

- As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding the company's business by managing relationships with channel partners and creating a network of mutual fund distributors (MFDs) and other channel partners.

- You will also develop personalized financial plans for clients, manage their investment portfolios, and provide expert financial advice. This role combines client relationship management with business growth through channel partnerships and distributor networks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and provide tailored financial solutions.

- Develop and manage relationships with channel partners to enhance business opportunities and drive growth.

- Create, develop, and nurture your own network of mutual fund distributors (MFDs) to expand the company's reach and distribution capabilities.

- Collaborate with channel partners and MFDs to identify and leverage growth opportunities in wealth management and financial services.

- Provide ongoing financial advice on investment strategies, tax planning, and risk management.

- Conduct financial assessments to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable financial solutions. Recommend investment products such as mutual funds, equities, and bonds based on thorough research and market analysis.

- Regularly monitor and review client portfolios, making adjustments based on market conditions and changing client needs.

- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments to offer timely advice.

- Collaborate with internal teams (tax advisors, legal professionals, estate planners) to deliver comprehensive financial solutions to clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Education: MBA or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.

- Experience: 5-8 years in business development within AMC, financial services, including wealth management and managing investments.

- Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for growing the business while helping clients achieve their financial goals.

- Strong experience in managing distributor relationships and mutual fund distribution development is a plus.

- Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management principles.

- Proficiency in financial tools, CRM systems, and MS Office suite.

- Excellent relationship-building skills, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Certifications: NISM V A certified Must; additional qualifications such as PMS, IRDA, CFP are added advantage.
