Accounts / Taxation Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns for clients in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date advice for clients.
• Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance including deduction, deposit, and filing of returns.
• Manage professional tax compliance for clients as per state regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, and other accounting documents.
• Support senior staff in client meetings, audits, and other tax-related activities.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10-12 years of experience in direct and indirect taxation, TDS, professional tax, and accounting.
• Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, including Income Tax Act, GST, and other relevant statutes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
