Manager Supply Chain - EXIM (Import Export)

Role & responsibilities

• Overall support to Head Commercial and Logistics in various initiatives. 
• Contribute to keep healthy status of IEC code of all Piramal entities. 
• Monitor EOU and SEZ compliances and necessary follow ups with site teams. 
• Liaison with Statutory authorities like DGFT, SEZ, ADC etc. 
• To keep a track of policy level changes like notifications/circulars and advising relevant stake holders. 
• Driving AEO/GDP/C-TPAT programs and site audits • Drafting representations for grievances on various assignments. 
• Support in crises management and operational issues at site for various logistics activities. (Month end shipments) 
• Support to business team with suitable guidance w.r.t. new products, HSN, Tariff, Compliance etc.. 
• Sale of Export Incentives thru e-platform. 
• Support to logistics category manager for resolving operational issues. 
• Support to site commercial teams for addressing show cause notices (need based) and liaison with legal advisors, attorneys etc.. 
• Drafting and monitoring of various SOPs related to Commercial & Logistics 
• Monthly review with sites and tracking AL /EOU/SEZ compliance, export incentives, site escalations, bonded stocks, logistics OTIF, Detention and demurrage

Preferred candidate profile

• Sound knowledge of import / export and logistics management. 
• Ability to refer Foreign Trade Policy, Customs Act and duty tariffs / exemptions, FEMA, D&C Act, GST Manual etc. 
• Experienced in solving queries w.r.t. Customs, ADC, AQ, Freight Forwarders, DG goods, CHAs, Transporters, Insurance etc. 
• Exposure to EOU / SEZ / Advance License is essential • Ability to understand and correlate decisions with business impact. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Computer literacy: MS office (Good in Power Point/ Excel and Word/SAP, ERP) 
• Behavioral: High energy, Integrity, Attitude. Ability to relate to people needs, Flexible approach, Good interpersonal skills and stake holder management.

Qualification

• Any graduates with 7-10 years of experience with maximum experience in Pharma Industry. 
• Should have PG Diploma in International Trade Management or Export Import Management from a reputed institute.
