Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
This role is responsible for maintaining healthy employee relations and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The incumbent would also be responsible for handling court cases.
KEY STAKEHOLDERS: Site BHR, Corporate Legal Team and Legal Advisors etc.
REPORTING STRUCTURE: Lead Employee Relations
EXPERIENCE (No of Years): Min 5 to 8 Yrs. experience in handling employee relations.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Proven work experience as an employee relations specialist or similar role
Demonstrated knowledge of employment law
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Strong problem-solving ability
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
KEY ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain positive employee relations by promoting open communication channels, addressing employee concerns, and facilitating conflict resolution.
Interpret and ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
Collaborate with management to design and implement ER policies and procedures.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and objective findings and resolutions.
Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters and disciplinary actions.
Stay updated on labor market trends, industry standards, and changes in employment laws to ensure compliance and recommend necessary updates to policies and practices.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance management and employee understanding of labor laws and best practices in labor relations.
Maintain accurate employee records related to labor relations activities and generate reports as needed.
Coordinate with the legal advisor on court cases and ensure that all the cases progress in right direction.
Conduct Half yearly compliance audit for all the establishments of Piramal Pharma Limited
Evaluate and implement contract labor management system in all the manufacturing sites
To ensure readiness at the sites for social audits
QUALIFICATION: MBA Human Resources
