Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain and manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NBFC regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Handle day-to-day accounting, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, taxation laws, and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare statutory returns (GST, TDS, etc.) on time.
• Monitor cash flow, investments, and fund management.
• Manage loan disbursements, repayments, and interest calculations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the NBFC sector.
• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, GST, TDS, and other financial compliance norms.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred candidate profile

Prior Experience in NBFC accounting or a similar role.
