Provide legal advice and solutions on a variety of corporate matters, including commercial contracts, mergers & acquisitions and corporate governance.
Draft and review a wide range of agreements, such as commercial & employment contracts, employment agreements, vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
Ensure compliance with applicable local and international laws and regulations, and identify potential legal risks. Provide proactive advice on mitigating legal and business risks.
Handle or coordinate external legal counsel for disputes, claims, and litigation. Represent the company in legal matters where applicable.
Advise senior management and board members on corporate governance issues, company structure, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain and manage proper legal documentation, including corporate records and compliance filings.
Support mergers, acquisitions and other corporate restructuring efforts from a legal perspective, ensuring smooth legal transitions.
Work closely with other departments (e.g., HR, Finance, Marketing) to address legal concerns and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Identify and assess legal risks related to corporate affairs, advising the company on how to mitigate or manage those risks effectively.
Oversee disputes, lawsuits, or arbitration involving the company, ensuring they are handled efficiently and in compliance with the applicable law.
Lead efforts for resolving legal disputes through mediation, arbitration, or settlement, keeping the companys interests in mind.
Ensure that agreements with vendors, clients, and third-party service providers are enforceable and that the terms are clearly defined to protect the companys interests.
