Legal - Deputy Manager/ Manager

Purpose Why does this role exist?

• Representing the Company (cases Filed by & against the Company) in Courts like High Court, City Civil Court and revenue courts.
• Coordination with internal and external stake holders, replying to notices, drafting, basic due diligence.

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators):

• Represents the Company in Legal Cases in Courts as directed.
• Preparation & circulation of MIS as directed.
• TSR related work as & when required.
• Hands on experience in drafting evidence, coordination with internal and external stake holders,
• coordination with Advocates.

Critical Tasks:

• Defending cases of the Company and taking required steps as directed.
• Drafting replies to Legal Notices received by Company and also drafting Legal Notices on behalf of the Company.
• Preparing Monthly MIS as per requirement, updating legal softwares.
• Preparing Quarterly MIS for submission to Board as required.
• Coordinating in TSR related work for Company.
• Preparing & circulating Contingent Liability Statement as directed.
• Scanning of important documents related to cases
• Updating record / case files
• Preparing and clearing bills of Advocates / Law firms.

Educational Background and Work Experience:

Education Background: LL.B

Work Experience : 5 to 15 Years

Competencies:

MS Word, Excel, Power point, legal drafting, preparation of various MIS Reports, Knowledge of

local language is a must, translation from Marathi to English, read, write and understand Marathi

and English language. 4 to 8 years experience of working as Advocate/ with law firm/corporate.

Other information:

Incumbent should have good knowledge in translation of Marathi documents to English and vice-versa.
