Cloud Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into cloud-based solutions that optimize performance and cost.
• Evaluate existing systems and applications and provide recommendations for migration to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum benefit.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and security components
• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments
• Collaborate with respective teams to automate cloud deployment, management, and monitoring processes.
• Optimize cloud-based solutions for performance, cost, and scalability, leveraging cloud-native services and technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to respective IT teams, helping them leverage cloud services and best practices effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and continuously enhance cloud architecture standards and frameworks.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years Experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role, designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP, with relevant Cloud Architect certifications being a must and OCI Certifications preferred
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, including IAM, compute, storage, networking (virtual cloud network, subnets, IP Addressing, VPN, Load balancing), and security.
• Ability and experience to design scalable, resilient, secure and optimize cloud architectures
• Relevant work experience on Cloud resource deployments and Cloud Administration
• Advantage with experience of Linux O/S and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
• Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Bash) and understanding of programming concepts can be beneficial
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and their deployment on cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and architect solutions accordingly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
