Job Description: Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to take ownership of technical aspects of software development, including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. The role involves collaborating with product teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize applications according to design specifications and user stories.
• Write, test, and document clean, efficient code while adhering to coding standards.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
• Perform technical design reviews and guide the team on development best practices.
• Mentor junior developers, providing feedback and technical guidance.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure scalability, reusability, and quality.
• Assist in project estimation and define technical solutions to meet customer needs.
• Participate in release management and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Conduct product demos for clients and stakeholders.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in Ruby on Rails, with knowledge of frontend technologies.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining scalable applications.
• Ability to mentor and lead a development team.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and modern web technologies.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and version control systems like Git.
