Project Manager - Identity Access Management (IAM)

Experience:

• Minimum 7-10 years of project management experience.

Project Management Skills:

• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in using project management tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
• Proactive attitude to delivery.
• Go-getter who provides input into discussions to help drive things forward.
• Able to adapt to technology well and is confident in discussions.
• Presents well and is able to hold meaningful discussions and challenge where needed.
• Supports PoC/Pilot testing with Application owners to adopt open standards-based authentication protocols.
• Works with Architecture on production infrastructure design.

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).

Technical Expertise:

• Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft EntraID/Azure AD.
• Understanding of different authentication protocols such as:
• Kerberos
• LDAP
• SAML
• OIDC
• OAuth
• Ability to lead technical discussions and provide overviews and benefits of each authentication protocol.
• Previous experience working with applications/platforms to adopt authentication protocols with an Identity Provider (AD, Microsoft EntraID/Azure AD).
• Technically versed with the ability to analyze, review, and adapt to different technologies.
• Competency in data analysis and producing detailed management information (MI).
• Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong skills in gathering IAM-related use cases and requirements (both functional and non-functional).
• Technical understanding of infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to optimize processes and maximize efficiency.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Positive team player, contributing to a large team environment.
• Accountability for deliverables with a proven track record of on-time delivery.

Good-to-Have Qualifications:

Banking Domain Expertise:

• Understanding of banking operations, core banking systems, and payment platforms.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as NIST or COBIT.

Additional Technical Expertise:

• Good knowledge/understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies.
• Familiarity with FIDO-based authentication.
• Experience working with global teams.
• Strong process mapping and analytical skills.
• IAM technology experience.
