Associate III - Lab Support

Role Proficiency:

Independently handle Semiconductor Lab Management effectively and guides other associates

Outcomes:

1. Proactively identify client requirements and implement based on policies and without any process violations
2. Involve in distributing tasks to the team
3. Provide suggestion on process or method that can be implemented based on user requirement
4. Ensure compliance in all lab audits (internal and external)
5. Enable lab Staging and Scrapping tasks
6. Perform high complexity board setup.
7. Perform high complexity SMD level rework
8. Perform first level debug for high complexity motherboard
9. Ensures efficient operation and utilization of lab equipment/ Materials / Lab benches and Lab Floor space
10. Complete arrangement for repair and calibration of major equipment.
11. Enable lab Inventory handling.
12. Ensure compliance to 6S process.
13. Handle shipments (inbound and outbound) utilizing shipment management tools.
14. Mentor Associate Lab managers to effectively perform in their roles
15. Set FAST Goals and provide feedback to FAST goals of mentees

Measures of Outcomes:

1. Adherence to lab process and standards
2. Adherence to schedule and timelines
3. Adhere to SLAs
4. Reduction of reoccurrence of handling errors as per SLA
5. Defined productivity standards for lab process
6. Completion of all mandatory training requirements

Outputs Expected:

Compliance :

1. Support information governance activities and audit preparations.

Configure:

1. Setup basic lab set up and of host and network

Document:

1. Create documentation for own work as well as perform peer review of documentation of others work

Inventory Management:

1. Lab asset tracking / Lab internal transfer monitoring and control
2. Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations
   stock levels
   and adjustments
3. Perform periodic analysis to predict potential inventory problems
4. Prepare the material purchase list
5. Order new supplies avoiding inefficiencies or excessive surplus.

Manage knowledge:

1. Consume and contribute to lab related documents
   share point and client universities.

Status Reporting:

1. Status report of assigned tasks
2. Compliance to lab related reporting standards and process

Mentoring:

1. Mentor Associate II - Lab Management and Associate I - Lab Management on the team
2. Set FAST goals and provide feedback of FAST goals of mentees
