Knowledge Manager

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Manager to drive knowledge management strategy, documentation, and best practices within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain . The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing, organizing, and disseminating critical business and technical knowledge to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and compliance .

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a Knowledge Management (KM) framework aligned with BFSI regulatory and operational requirements .
• Manage and maintain a centralized knowledge repository , ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and security of information.
• Work closely with IT, operations, risk, and compliance teams to document critical business processes, best practices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) .
• Establish a structured taxonomy and metadata strategy to enhance searchability and usability of knowledge assets.
• Implement knowledge-sharing tools and platforms (e. g. , Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow Knowledge Base ).
• Conduct knowledge audits and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement.
• Promote a culture of knowledge sharing through training, workshops, and collaboration with cross-functional teams .
• Define and track knowledge management metrics to measure effectiveness and adoption .
• Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and regulatory policies related to information management .
• Support business continuity planning (BCP) by ensuring critical knowledge is documented and accessible .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Knowledge Management, IT Service Management (ITSM), or Business Process Documentation within the BFSI sector .
• Strong understanding of BFSI regulatory requirements, governance frameworks, and operational risk management .
• Proficiency in KM tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow , or similar platforms.
• Experience in technical writing, content management, and documentation best practices .
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to curate and organize large volumes of information effectively .
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills .

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL v3/v4 Certification or KM-related certifications (e. g. , KCS, CKM ).
• Experience with AI-driven knowledge automation and self-service solutions .
• Exposure to cloud-based KM solutions and enterprise content management systems .
