Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GCP services, cloud architecture best practices, and experience working with diverse teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform.
• Infrastructure Modernization: Lead cloud migration efforts and modernize legacy systems to leverage GCPs capabilities.
• Solution Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver optimized cloud solutions tailored to business needs.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams on GCP best practices and architecture standards.
• Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize cloud resource usage and manage costs effectively.
• Automation: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or CloudFormation.
• Security: Ensure cloud solutions are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Establish monitoring solutions and provide ongoing support to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, software development, and data engineering, to deliver cohesive solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong expertise in GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Deep understanding of networking, security, and identity management in GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
