About Pincode:
Pincode is a shopping app that offers a revolutionary new approach to e-commerce. Pincode places the local stores and sellers at the forefront of the digital shopping growth story. With Pincode, every Indian shopkeeper, regardless of their location, is digitally empowered to tap into the vast potential of e-commerce, creating unprecedented opportunities for growth, while driving innovation at scale.
Job Objective:
The role will entail developing in-depth understanding of accounts of different industry verticals - FB, Hospitality, FMCG, FMCD, Healthcare, Wellness, Lifestyle, etc. The incumbent will be responsible for not only adding new accounts to our network, but also to nurture and grow them and also ensure an increase of market share of Pincode in the offline business. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to generate revenue through multiple products launched as we move forward in our journey.
The incumbent will manage a team of 8-10 Growth Executives (GEs)report to the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
Merchant Acquisition: City Head is expected to set up and lead a team of Growth Executives to achieve merchant acquisition targets. Since retail is agnostic to the category of business, the spectrum of merchants that can be onboarded is vast. The City Head must use their acumen and understanding of the Indian retail ecosystem to track progress against plan by implementing strong processes review mechanisms using well - defined metrics.
Account Management: Onboarding merchants on the platform is the first stage of a long-term relationship between Pincode and the account. The strength of these relationships, combined with our technology based solutions, will eventually determine the success of Pincode in each market in terms of market share and revenue. The City Head enables the team to provide effective deployments along with training and servicing of the mechants. They should be able to plan, assess and implement monetization avenues in the market and be responsible for the teams funnel management.
The incumbent will be owner of the quality of the tasks assigned to the team
Map Competition/ Market Insights: To be able to take timely action, it is imperative that we monitor the market and be informed of competition s initiatives. City Heads play a pivotal role in monitoring competition activity in merchant accounts and ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented. With their own observations coupled with inputs from the team, they must share best practices internally for growth of Pincode.
Team Management: City Heads hold the onus to build their team by ensuring hiring of GEs and ensure 100% manning in their clusters. Onboard and provide on-the-job-training to the GEs to improve performance. Demonstrated ability to connect with the team beyond work as well and understand the driving factors for each member. Monitor KPIs and coach team members on an ongoing basis
