Plant Human Resources Manager
- This role is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR leadership and support to the plant, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- You will be the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters within the plant, acting as a resource for managers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified talent for the plant.
- Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring decisions.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.
- Conduct performance management discussions and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Manage payroll, benefits, and other HR administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and develop/implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Support employee career development and succession planning.
Safety & Health:
- Work closely with plant safety personnel to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Promote safety awareness and compliance among employees.
Communication & Engagement:
- Communicate HR policies and procedures effectively to employees.
- Organize and participate in employee engagement activities.
Budget Management:
- Manage the HR budget for the plant effectively.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular HR reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making.
Qualification And Experience:
1. MBA in HR or a related field with 8-10 years of experience in HR, with experience in a manufacturing or agrochemical environment preferred.
2. Strong understanding of labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Experience in a unionized environment.
6. Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems).
7. Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies.
8. Experience in managing and mentoring HR staff.
