Plant Head - Manufacturing (8-10 yrs)

Job Description:

- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic - Plant Head- to oversee the operations of our Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant in Silvasa.

- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and prior experience in the electric vehicle industry, particularly in three-wheelers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant to ensure efficient production and quality standards are met.

- Team Leadership: Manage a team of department heads and staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a positive work culture.

- Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans, ensuring timely delivery of products while optimizing resources.

- Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Monitor inventory levels, manage procurement processes, and ensure the availability of raw materials and parts for uninterrupted production.

- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

- Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality.

- Cost Management: Prepare budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability by minimizing waste and optimizing resources.

- Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to align production with market demand and customer requirements.

- Performance Reporting: Regularly report plant performance to senior management, identifying issues and recommending solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.

- Hands-on experience in three-wheeler electric vehicle production and assembly.

- Strong knowledge of production processes, supply chain management, and quality control standards.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies is a plus.

- Ability to drive change and innovation while maintaining operational stability.
