Head - Manufacturing - Internet/Online (8-10 yrs)

We are seeking an energetic manufacturing leader for our client, a Bangalore-based FMCG brand, to oversee operations during a period of rapid expansion. As the company grows its product line and scales production, you will be instrumental in streamlining processes, guiding a growing team, and maintaining exceptional quality while keeping costs under control.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead manufacturing operations and develop strategies that align with business goals while building a safety-focused team culture.

- Manage daily production, capacity planning, and resource optimization to meet targets with minimal waste.

- Implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and new technologies to improve processes and efficiency.

- Maintain quality standards, regulatory compliance, and resolve product quality issues through root cause analysis.

- Oversee manufacturing budgets, cost analysis, and resource allocation to maximize financial performance.

- Coordinate with procurement for material sourcing and optimize inventory and logistics to meet demand.

- Build and develop high-performing teams through clear expectations, coaching, and performance management.

- Ensure workplace safety through effective HSE programs and regulatory compliance.

- Collaborate with NPD to integrate new products and categories into production workflows.

- Scale production capacity up to 100x while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering/ Mechanical/ Manufacturing and Operations or related fields with 8-10 years in food manufacturing.

- Experience in successful scaling of operations from small to large volumes and implementing manufacturing technology and automation

- Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead manufacturing teams through significant growth while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
