Customer Acquisition Sales Specialist

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven Customer Acquisition Sales Specialist who will play a key role in driving revenue growth by building strong customer relationships, developing strategic sales initiatives, and scaling the sales function. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles in the AI/tech space.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for target industries in alignment with company's vision and goals.
- Lead the sales cycle from demand generation and opportunity qualification to resource allocation, technical validation, and business validation.
- Create and deliver compelling value propositions tailored to specific customer needs, leveraging company's generative AI solutions.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through relentless prospecting and relationship-building efforts.
Customer Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to key influencers and decision-makers (TDMs, BDMs, CXOs) across various industries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including forward-deployed engineers, solutions architects, and partner resources, to co-create solutions that solve customers' critical business challenges.
- Establish mechanisms to ensure post-sale customer success in collaboration with partners, engineering, and solutions teams.
Revenue and Metrics
- Deliver revenue targets consistently by maintaining a healthy pipeline at all stages of the sales cycle.
- Develop and standardize pricing strategies for different market tiers to optimize deal closure.
- Manage sales cadence and success metrics while ensuring clear and regular communication of results to internal and external stakeholders.
Process and Collaboration:
- Design and implement scalable sales processes that align with company's growing partner ecosystem.
- Drive a culture of collaboration and excellence in day-to-day communications and decisions with GTM (Go-to-Market) teams.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to deepen customer engagement and drive additional revenue streams.
Feedback and Improvement
- Gather customer feedback to inform product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with market demands and competitor strategies.
- Actively document wins, losses and lessons learned as inputs for refining the sales approach and product development.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: 3-10 years in B2B sales, preferably in the AI, technology, or SaaS domains.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of AI, language models, and related technologies.
- Proven ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering compelling presentations to C-level executives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering. A Master's degree in business is a plus.
